Mc Hale Pack Fireworks below: This pack turned out pretty swell. The colored fabrics are 500 Cordura while the greys are 2 weights of Full Spectra. It's a pure roll top although we left the top buckles on so a lid could be attached. It's similar to other mint colors posted before but different. There is a heavy Full Spectra on the bottom area, with a more normal weight of Full Spectra on the rear yellow pocket and bottom of water pockets.
The real color here is more of a darker wine than burgundy. I wish I had time to run this pack though all of its permutations/transformations!
Morrison Motors managed a very creditable sixth place.
This was their first time at the event and we had lent them one of our cars to take part, so they may well be worth watching next year if they build their own car.
We'll make it work and Ellon will make it a success, again!
ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL PEDAL CAR DAY Sunday 20 August saw another day of fun in the Ellon Town Centre when the annual Pedal Car Race day was held.
We'll have more information when we sort out the numbers, but one team which stands out from the others was Brewdog, who now hold the Ellon Pedal Car Race all time record as the team which has finshed the race with the least number of laps covered. Here's the other Full Spectra pack mentioned below. The colors are subtle and difficult to photograph but they are not that far off, but the blue is more of a slate powder blue and the pink is a lavender! It has another external pocket that covers the panel zip, that swings open, but I wanted to keep things simple here. Time for more pack pics; a couple Full Spectra packs that waited for my return to finish! Also first timers were Ellon Rugby Club, a good effort guys, it takes real men to race a car with a pink chain! They have already told us how much they enjoyed the day and they will be practisiing for next year.
